Peacefully, following a courageous battle, with his devoted family by his side on February 25, 2012 at the age of 61. Cherished husband and best friend for 39 years of Carolyn (nee Thiel). Loving father of Cynthia and husband Mike Castellucci and Jennifer and husband Patrick Spiteri. Very proud and extremely thoughtful Papa of Mya, Max and Noah. Eldest and dedicated son of Therese Stark and son-in-law of Keith Thiel and late wife Margaret. Dear brother of Stephen Stark and wife Marsha, Tim Stark and Tom Stark. Will be missed greatly by extended family and friends with whom he loved to tease, take under his wing and treat with his secret stash of "goodies". He took great pride in providing for his family. David was always willing to lend a hand to those in need, an admirable and respected virtue. He was known for his strong work ethic which led to success as both an entrepreneur and salesman. He fondly treasured his colleagues and numerous customers with whom he was always "wheeling and dealing". Words cannot express the gratitude for all the prayers and support throughout David's illness. A particular acknowledgement to ICU and Multi Organ Transplant Program of London Health Sciences as well as WRH-Metropolitan and Western Campuses for the exceptional care given to David.
