Passed away peacefully on September 7, 2012, with her loving family by her side, at 76 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Kipping (1994). Loving mother of Paul Kipping, Steve & Jane Kipping, and Michelle & Rob Cecile. Cherished grandmother of Nicole and Tyler Kipping; Darren, Derek and Jessica Kipping; and Kip, Will, Lily and Charlotte Cecile. Daughter of the late Napoleon & Simone Roy. Dear Sister of Irene Backholm, Gerry & Karen Roy, Ron & Sue Roy, Michelle & Chuck Benninger. Sister-in-law of Mary Cooper, May Johnston, Beatrice Taylor, and Josephine Dikken. Predeceased by her in-laws Jean Collins, Rita Mackle, Ethel Gunther, Joseph, Patrick and John Kipping. Dear friend of Vivienne & Bill Cramer. Will be sadly missed by her dear cousin Lillian Harkins, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Denise retired from Scotia Bank and worked in the family business at Firestone - Kipping Tire still contributing into her final days. She loved life. Denise especially loved her family, her grandchildren, and hosting Wednesday night dinners. She enjoyed travelling the world with her sister Irene, most recently visiting the Mediterranean. She found great pleasure in gardening, and was known as "Knitting Grandma". Special thanks to Laura, Adriana and Bev for their care and support.
