On September 22, 2008 our lovely Deni lost her battle with cancer at age 54. She was peaceful with family and friends at her side. Loving partner of Jon Weir. Devoted mother of Michael Riina (Becky) of Battlecreek, MI and Andrew Helou of Windsor. Adoring granny of Isabelle, Mica and Evelyn Riina. Loving sister of Edward DeBra and Carolyn Bateman of Grand Rapids, MI, Barbara Mason of Corbin, KY and Lisa Vanwinkle (Roger) of McKee, KY. Deni will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Her contagious laughter and big heart will be missed by her dearest friends, Barbara Gebara, Stephanie Cuffe, and Robin Bondy. Deni worked for engineering firms and later for the Canadian Red Cross where her passion for helping others flourished. Sincere appreciation for the nursing staff on the 4th Floor, WRH Metropolitan Campus for their excellent care.
