Passed away peacefully at his home in Windsor surrounded by his family on July 29, 2011 at the age of 71, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Castro Frosinone, Italy on January 22, 1940. Loving husband of Rina with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Beloved father of Ornella (Dino) Ciavaglia, Frank (Lisa) Polidori, and Orietta (Dave) Ciavaglia. Proud Nonno of six grandsons, Giancarlo and Marco Ciavaglia, Ryan and Jason Polidori, Nico and Christian Ciavaglia. Dear brother of Giuseppina Palombi and her late husband Nazzareno of Montreal and predeceased by brother Donato of Italy. Predeceased by parents Francesco and Caterina Polidori and parents-in-law Giuseppe and Assunta Ceccarelli, all of Italy. He will be sadly missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews in Italy, France and Montreal. Domenico was the proud owner of Villa Construction, a talented cement contractor for the past 40 years. He was passionate about his work, his garden and his family.
