Passed away peacefully at home, after a valiant battle against cancer on June 10, 2012 at the age of 69. Cherished husband and best friend of Joy for 27 years. Devoted father of Shawn Clarkson (Lori), Sherry Morrison (Sauli), Christian Clarkson (Chyla) and Dawn Marie. Adored grandfather of Victoria-Joy, Meghan, Erin and Andrew. Predeceased by parents Elmer & Helen and loved step-son of Marjorie. Loving brother of Ty Clarkson (Judy), Bill Clarkson (Hua), Frieda Taylor, Katie McNally, the late Laura Justice, step-brother of Sam, Gord, Craig Pailey, and Laura (Lindsay) Shaw. Will be forever missed by many extended family members and friends. Donald was a dedicated Counsellor with Brentwood for 12 years. Following his retirement from Chrysler, he enjoyed spending time with and taking care of his family. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Brentwood or Pancreatic Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place.
