Peacefully on June 28, 2012 at 54 years of age with his loving brother Jim by his side. Cherished son of Archie and Marie. Loving brother of Jim and Deb, Don and Linda, George and Chris, the late Bill and his surviving wife Linda. Loving uncle to Donna and Perry, Dan and Marisa, Joe and Amy, Tim, Christa and Lawrence. Will also be missed by his 7 great nieces and nephews. Doug retired from General Motors after 32 years of serving as a tradesman. Doug was an avid hunter, conservationist and sport shooter achieving many awards, he will be missed by many friends and associates from several gun clubs. A special thank you to Hospice of Windsor and Tim Hortons and the Hotel Dieu Nursing Staff for all the love and care shown to our family. If you so desire, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be greatly appreciated by the family. Cremation service was held. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
