After a short illness, on July 10, 2011 at 83 years of age surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Hopps). Cherished father of Connie and husband Jean-Yves Couture, David Blandford and wife Ruth, and Bill Blandford. Loving papa of Shawn and Michael Couture, and Kyle and Kelvin Blandford and great-papa of Chelsea, Collin, Cailyn and Kiley Couture. Dearest son of the late George and Constance Blandford. Dear brother of the late George husband of Phyllis Blandford, Bob and wife Francine Blandford and brother in-law of Ed Hopps, Bill and wife Pam Hopps, Don and wife Rysa Hopps. He will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Ted enjoyed a 42 year career at Ontario Hydro (Hydro One) retiring in 1989. We would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU of Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, especially Nurse Dan.
