Peacefully on May 28, 2012 at the age of 88. Cherished husband of the late Eileen (nee Conley 2011). Loving father of Richard & wife Sandy, Carol De Lorme & husband Vic, and Don & wife Trish. Treasured "Grandpa J" of Bobby, Josh, Rachel, Kristal, and Megan. Dear brother of Ken & the late Isabelle, Cal and the late Edith. Loved brother-in-law of Pat Essery, Frank Conley & wife Sandy and Jack Kalyn. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Brian Essery, Don Conley, and sisters-in-law Pat Conley, Dolores Sumner and Betty Kalyn. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Edward was a retired District Fire Chief and a Royal Air Force Veteran of WWII. He was a member of Erie Shores Golf Course for over 25 years. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors of WRH-Met E.R., 8N, 5N, Jan of CCAC, and especially Brenda and staff at Season's Retirement Home in LaSalle. Donations made to the Parkinson Society or the Fire Fighters Benefit Fund would be appreciated by the family. Cremation was held. Memorial visitation Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of Veteran's Memorial Service under the auspices of Windsor Veteran's Memorial Service committee at 11:30 a.m., followed by Funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD.
