Emmanuel Arthur Franco
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 7, 2019 at 83 years of age.
Beloved husband of Evangeline for 59 years. Cherished father of Victor Emmanuel (Patti), Edmund Martin, Emma (Steve) Lustig, Eleanore (Paul) Sedge and Ethel (Dave) Vezina. Loving Lolo of Yasmin, Alexis, Justin, Stevan, Christian, Nico, Rachael, Rebecca, Jeremy, Samantha, Katie, Christine, Liam, Deanna, Bill, Scott and Faith. Dear brother of Josephine (Romeo) Asuncion and Francis Franco. Emmanuel will be sadly missed by his extended family and many dear friends.
Emmanuel was a 31 year member of the Community of Secular Discalced Carmelite and 45 year member at Assumption Church. He worked for Philippine Airlines for 16 years, Capsule Tech. International for 20 years and received the Canada Export Award in 1986.
If you so desire, donations to the Assumption Church Building Restoration Fund or Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. and Filipino Prayers at 7:30 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Thursday, April 11, 2019 family and friends are invited to meet at Assumption Church, McEwan Campus (711 McEwan Ave.) after 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery to follow.
