Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, on April 5, 2012 at the age of 76 years. Loving husband to Helen (nee Forrest). Cherished father to Randy, Laurie, Kevin and his late wife Renee, Ernie, Cindy, David, the late Sean (2006), Lisa and husband Rod, Dana, and father-in-law to Fran Alexander. Precious grandpa to Randy and Liz, Lindsay, Ryan, Paul, Erica, Ross, Dane, Shawna and great-grandpa to Ashton, Cole and Alexis. Loved son to the late Paul and Mary Darocy. Dear brother to Helen Vince, and Edward Darocy. Special cousin to Jesse and the late Edith Nagy. Dear brother-in-law to the late Charlie and Marie Forrest, Mary and the late Hugh Cunningham, Laura and Larry Lamon, Kathleen and Edward Crone and Sheila and Earl Fuhr. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Ernest was the owner and proprietor of Fairlane Transmission Service for over 45 years.
