Eva Piccinato

With profound sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Eva with her loving family by her side on November 24, 2012 at the age of 74. Cherished wife and best friend of Egidio for almost 52 years. Devoted mother of Mirco Piccinato (Milica Potrebic) and Linda Campanaro (Joseph). Proud and adoring Nonna of Silvio and Sofia. Will be missed by many family members in Italy and by close friends. Eva had a tremendous and unconditional love for her family, often preparing beautiful handsewn items and delicious home cooked meals. Spending quality time with them was important. She took pride in her green thumb, enjoying floral arrangements and canning vegetables from her gardens. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses of Met-6th floor and HDGH-7 & 8th floors, who took exceptional care of Eva while she was in their care. Sincere gratitude to our family and friends for their never ending love, support and prayers. Donations to Transition To Betterness would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. from Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave.) for Mass at 11 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
