Babcock, Freda Sylvia (nee Tompson)

On February 26, 2001 at 86 years of age at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Formerly of St. Thomas. Beloved wife of the late Vaughan Babcock (1976). Cherished mother of Douglas & wife Charlene of Windsor, Janice Goldman of Amherstburg. Loving grandmother of Aaron Goldman, Hartt and Barbara Goldman, Lindsey, Justin, Bradley and Ashley Babcock. Dear sister of Phyllis and husband Peter Hastie, the late Bernard, Fred, May, and Bunnie. Also survived by her nieces and nephews Mr. and Mrs. Rod Babcock, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Babcock. Freda was a member of the Chancel Guild at the Trinity Anglican Church, St. Thomas for many years. Freda was a faithful parishioner of St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Windsor. If you so desire, donations may be made to the Ontario Lung Association, the Asthma Society of Canada or the Parkinson's Foundation.
