79 years on February 24, 2001 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital. Dear husband of Arlie (Arlene) (nee Miller). Beloved son of the late Amelia and William Henry Steel. Loving brother of Jessie and husband Mike Bradley, Katherine and husband Len Pittenger, Edward Steel and Donna Sheppey, Walter and wife Shirley Steel, Frances and husband Moe Ewing and the late Lydia, Bill, George and Albert Steel. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Frederick served in the American Navy from 1942-1945. He also worked for Great Lakes Steel company for 43 years. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, The Ontario Heart and Stroke or The Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Families First Funeral Home (969-5841) 2670 Dougall Avenue. Visiting Saturday 10am at St. James Church (4276 Roseland Drive) until time of Memorial Service at 11am. Rev. Peter Aquilina officiating. Interment Windsor Memorial Gardens.
