Peacefully, on March 1, 2011, at the age of 85, with his loving family by his side. Loving husband of the late Betty (2006). The most awesome dad of Kevin and the late Lorelei, Dianne Rainhard and partner Roger Hogue, Sandy and Brian Joyce. Cherished grandfather "Pa" of Amanda, Brian and wife Allison, and Katherine Kominar; Joshua, Jordan and Kristen Rainhard and their father Kurt; Samantha and Alexandra Joyce. Dear brother of Steve and his late wife Sharon, Andrew and his wife Margaret. Dear brother-in-law of Ann Kominar. Predeceased by his brothers John and Martin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. George was very proud of his Slovak heritage and will always be remembered for his warmth, humour and gentle nature.
