76 years, passed away on January 17, 2013 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of 54 years to Rose (nee Giess). Loving father of Lisa & David Wohlers and Jim Slavik. Cherished Gramps of Andrew "AJ" and Lauren "Larry". Dear brother of Stephen J. & late wife Rose, Helen & Frank Furlong, Joanne & late Don Thibeault, Diane & Ron Taylor. George will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a 25 year employee of Chrysler Canada before retiring to enjoy his passion of golf. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor Regional Dialysis Unit or the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Sunday 3-5 & 7-9 pm with parish prayers at 4 pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Monday, family and friends are invited to meet after 9:30 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 4401 Mount Royal Dr., followed by Mass at 10 am. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
