Passed away peacefully on November 2, 2009, at the age of 63. Beloved soulmate of George for 40 years. Cherished mother of Pat (Wayne), Donna (Bob), Brian (Bernadette), Tina, Debbie (Tammy), George (Chrissy), Lisa (Curtis). Devoted grandmother of Michael, Jacqueline, Monique, Megan, David, Nicole, Garret, Blake, Katie, Junior, Alyssa, Collin, Chelsea, Christian, Gage and Storm. Dear daughter of Marie Hynes of Canso, Nova Scotia and the late Gerald. Loved sister of Maxine (Jerry) Lumsden of Nova Scotia, Paul (Mary) Hynes, Terrance Hynes, Valerie Hynes, Joanne (Jim) McQuarrie. Best friend of Joyce (Clair) Hills. Gerry will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends. Thank you to the nursing staff at both Metropolitan Hospital and Malden Park for all your support. A special thank you to Dr. John MacKinnon, Dr. Debra Hellyer and their assistants for all their care and kindness – you went above and beyond. Thank you also to Fr.
