Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 20, 2008 at 74 years of age. Born in Montallegro, Sicily and immigrated to Canada in 1967. Loving husband for 50 years to Nora (Zambito). Cherished father of Lea and Giovanni Munisteri, Charlie Mazza, Cathy and Tony LaTona, Donna and Joe Manzone and Josie and John Lepera. Caro Nonno of Maria and Joe Lucier, Leo, Gerry, Adrian, Michael, Mario, Patrick, Cassandra, Emilia, Katrina and Victoria. Bisnonno of Joshua and Jesse. Predeceased by his mother Leonarda (1936) and father Calogero (1943). Brother of Pietro and Giuseppa Mazza, and the late Michele (1965), Giuseppina (1996), Francesca (1998), Leonardo (2004), Gaetano (2008) and Giovanna (2008). Son-in-law of the late Caterina Ciulla (2004) and Domenico Zambito (1953). Brother-in-law of Paolo and Rosa, Giuseppe, Natale, Antonia and the late Franco Zambito (1995). He will be sadly missed by many many nieces and nephews throughout Canada, United States and Italy. A special thank you to the nurses and staff of 4 north at WRH Met campus.
