Passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on August 26, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Loving and cherished husband to Sylvia, with whom he celebrated 30 years of marriage. Beloved father to Connie Dominijanni, Leda and husband Anthony La Porta. Beloved son to the late Armando and Leda Marcheschi. Dear brother to the late Ubaldo husband to Diane Marcheschi. Loving brother-in-law to Andy and Cathy Lijoi, Bruno Lijoi, Vince Lijoi, Cus and Sue Lijoi and Joe Lijoi. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He will be missed by many friends and neighbours. Joe was a former employee at Ontario Hydro who retired after many years of service. He was an avid hunter, gardener and enjoyed making his tomato sauce and homemade wine.
