Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital �" Met Campus on November 6, 2003 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by husband Melvin (1983). Beloved mother of Nancy and husband Armando Carreira (Comber), Bonnie and husband Bill Wayvon (Windsor), Peggy and husband Marcel Portelance (Hamilton). Long time friend and companion of John Sich (Amherstburg). Dear sister of Earl and wife Leona Atkins, Geraldine and the late Roy Pinsonneault, the late Carl, husband of Bonnie Atkins. Cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and friends. Gladys was a long-time dedicated employee of Windsor Plastic Products and their only retiree. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. Visitation was held Friday evening and continues on Saturday from 2-5 and 7:00 p.m. until time of service at 8:00 p.m. at Families First Funeral Home & Chapel (969-5841) 2670 Dougall Ave. Rev. Paul Almond officiating. Cremation to follow.
