Passed away peacefully on December 17, 2012, at 91 years of age to be reunited with his wife Aileen (nee Brown)(1993) and daughter Catherine Chadwick (2009). Father to Gordon and Sue, John, Donald and Carole, Mark and Marian and father-in-law of the late Doris (2004). Gordon will be missed by his 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, many relatives, nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Brown and the late Wilson, the late Harry and Marion Doyle, the late Florence Brown and Beth Andrews. He will be sadly missed by "Lucky Chadwick" his best friend and loyal canine companion at his side for 8 years, a special thank you to good friend Genevieve Damphouse. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters. Special thanks to Dr. C. Johnson and the 6th floor nurses at Met Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care. Gordon was a dedicated employee of General Motors Transmission plant as a Tinsmith for 35 years. In kindness, memorial donations to the Windsor Essex Humane Society would be appreciated. Visiting Thursday from 1-3 p.m. & 5-7 p.m. A celebration of Gordon's life will be held on Friday 11:30 a.m. at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor (519-969-5841).
