Grace Haines

Went home to Heaven on March 8, 2011, Grace passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the age of 86 years. Loving and cherished wife to John, with whom she celebrated 66 years of marriage. Devoted and caring mother to Donna and Leo Desjardins, Mary Wereschuk and Alistair Taylor, William and Judy Haines. Adored grandma to Cheryl Campbell, Michael and Cindy Desjardins, Brian Znotins and Susan Regts Heather and Hillar Lilles, Barbara Haines and Richard Prior, Michael and Bobbie Haines and great-grandma to Julie, Emilee, Chloe, Alivia, Hannah, Andrejs and Aleksie. Grace will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. If you so desire, memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society of Windsor & Essex County or the Shrine Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Thursday 3-5, 7-9 p.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor 519-969-5841. On Friday visitation will continue at the McBurney Funeral Home (35 Patrick St. W) Wingham with funeral service to be held on Saturday. Interment Wingham Cemetery. The family of Grace would like to send a very special thank you to Brouillette Manor for the kindness and compassion shown to Grace and our family. You will always remain in our hearts. Gracie was the "last potato in her family barrel."
