Peacefully on January 19, 2012 at the age of 93 in Saskatoon. Cherished wife of the late Earl (1982). Devoted mother of Elise Gignac and husband Steve Fortowsky and proud grandmother of William and Katrina all of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Dear sister of Bill Renaud (Rite) and predeceased by Leo Renaud (Olive), Paul Renaud (Jean), Marie Renaud, Rita Pitre (Denis) and Pauline Renaud. Will be missed by the Fortowsky family. Ida was a graduate of the Ottawa Normal School, working as an office administrator for several local businesses. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, leaving behind her legacy of love and devotion. Donations made to the Transitional Care Unit (c/o Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation) would be appreciated by the family.
