Iola May Wood

WOOD, Iola May (nee Copeland)

Peacefully at Iler Lodge on October 15, 2003 at 96 years of age. Dear wife of the late Charles Wood (1983), the late William Sandham (1957). Dearest daughter of Hiram and Ida Copeland. Loving sister of the late Jim (1925) Hiram (1963), John (1913), Margaret Zettell (1997), Vera Lauckner (1999), Hazel Stenman (1975). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Iola was known for her generosity and her sense of humour—she could always laugh at herself. Iola had a great respect and a deep knowledge of the bible, and helped many come to an accurate knowledge of such scriptures as John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:3,4. In accord with Iola's wishes burial has already taken place. On Saturday 2:00 p.m. a memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Essex (85 South Talbot Rd., North). Arrangements entrusted to Families First Funeral Home (969-5841) 2670 Dougall Ave.
