Sa famille à le regret d'annoncer sa mortalité le 10 avril 2011; née 1931. Passed away peacefully at Iler Lodge with her family at her bedside. Chère épouse de/beloved wife of Alphonse, with whom she celebrated 55 years of marriage. Mère de/mother of Paul (Maggie), Jean-Marc (Cathy), Cécile Gifford (Terry), and Michèle. Mémé adorée et admirée de Linda, Angela (1982), Daniel, David (Julie), Julie (Dave), Chantal, David, Michael, Paul, Carole, Pamela, Paul, Michel, Marc, François. Grandmémé to Kavyn. Chère fille de Hector et Evelyn. Sister of Fr. Linus, Sr. Cecile, Hector (Priscilla), Fran (Art), Leonard, Jeanette (Tony), Ovide (Danièle), Gerald (Paula). Sister-in-law to Fr. Paul (2006), Jérome (2001) (Mabel 1997), Antoinette (2008) (Kai 2006), Daniel (1961), Dorothy Trombley (Lawrence), Marguerite Pajot (Giles), Stanley (Claire), Gérard (Angela), Betty Arseneault (Bob). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Irene was a dedicated teacher, who not only loved her students, but remembered every single one of them. She touched many lives, especially of those who needed it the most. A big thank you to the exceptional staff at Iler Lodge for their kindness and care of Irene, and for treating her as part of their family. If so desired, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Windsor & Essex Co. would be greatly appreciated by the family. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday 2-4:30p.m. & 6-8 p.m. Prayers are to be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Thursday, family and friends are invited to meet at St. Joseph Church, 9399 Townline Rd., River Canard after 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery following Mass.
