January 6, 1957 – April 29, 2020
Yvon, Gerald Trudell and I always played together at recess. Stick tag was our favorite game. We had so much fun others would join in. After school we would sometimes find time together, either on Marion or on Pierre Ave. Those were the days when Hot Wheels were the craze. I think it was a time in Gr. 5. Yvon had already missed a day or two of school. I was concerned and did not want Yvon to fall behind at school. I asked Mme. Caron if there was some work that I could bring to Yvon at home. She was only too happy to assist. When I presented the homework to Yvon..... Well you could imagine the reaction. Mme. Landry was quite understanding and was quick to remind Yvon that my gesture was one of a concerned friend.
