Peacefully on December 9, 2009 at 95 years of age. Survived by his wife Margaret (nee Thomson), daughter Margaret "Betty", and sons Forbes and Bruce. Predeceased by sons Jack and Bob. Grandfather of ten grandchildren and great-grandfather of seventeen great-grandchildren. Brother of the late George.
