It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of a great father and loving husband on February 22, 2011, at the age of 59. Beloved husband and best friend of Joan for 35 years. Devoted father of Christopher (Stacey) and Patrick (Shana). Cherished brother of Joan Rusling and husband Dale. Pre-deceased by his parents Joseph (1982), Joy (2005) and sister Patricia. Fondly remembered by brother-in law Jim McGhie (Cathy), sister-in-law to Eileen Frayn (Doug) and mother-in law Doris McGhie. Treasured uncle of Allison, Amanda, Anne, Catherine and Ken. Fondly remembered and will be sadly missed by aunts and uncles (Elly and Jim Chapman, Betty Langdon), and many cousins. For a month, we watched Jim be an incredibly brave and courageous man. Family and friends will remember his fun-loving nature, zest for life and incredible wit. Jim was an excellent cook and was rarely found without a book in his hand. Not a day will go by when we don't think about him; life will not be the same. We know that you are watching over us and we want you to know and remember that you are, and always will be, in our hearts.
