Passed away suddenly on December 15, 2011 at 66 years of age. Predeceased by his parents George and Ann Chappus. Beloved brother of Mary Jane (Bob) Gignac, Cathy Chappus and Dave (Cheryl) Chappus. Dear uncle of Cheryl (Dave) Schincariol, Brian (Lisa) Gignac, Melissa Chappus, Julie (Michael) Edwards, Emily Chappus, Shelley Chappus and great uncle of Bradley and Allison Schincariol, Nora Edwards and Damon Gignac. Jim will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was the current Grand Knight of Council 9500 LaSalle, Chairman of the LaSalle Strawberry Festival and many other organizations. If you so desire, donations to Sacred Heart Church Building Fund, would be appreciated by the family. Visitation Saturday 5-8pm & Sunday 2-5 & 7-9pm. Parish Prayers Saturday at 7pm. Sunday Colour Guard of the 4th Degree Knights will be gathering at 7pm, followed by K of C prayers at 7:30pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
