With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Jim on August 31, 2012 at the age of 82 with loving family by his side. Cherished husband and best friend of Flo for 24 years and of the late Margaret (1982). Beloved father of the late Wayne Shepley (1970), Gloria wife of Clarence Beneteau, Elaine wife of Ray Beneteau, Cheryl wife of Rick Bryant, Lorraine wife of Ken Dow, Geraldine wife of the late Bill Geortzen, Janet wife of Tom Starling, Gail wife of Rick Faubert, Heather wife of Terry McLeod, Caroline wife of Art Mayo and Sharon wife of Steve Godin. Proud grandfather of 31 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by many family members and close friends. Special thank-you to the wonderful staff of Hospice for their exceptional care of Jim while he was in their stay. After his retirement from GM, Jim often went RV camping with family and friends, enjoying his favourite bands along the way. His stories and jokes will be remembered forever.
