Peacefully with devoted family by her side on March 16, 2011 at the age of 62. Beloved mother of Michael Portt and wife Ashley of Cambridge. Proud grandmother of Samantha. Cherished companion and best friend of Joseph Brosseau "Speedy". Loving daughter of Joseph Lucier and wife Giselle and of Theresa Lucier and companion Jack Greenway. Dear sister of Mary-Ann and husband Verne Dupuis, Shirley Lucier, Joseph Lucier and wife Valerie, Jerome Lucier. She will be missed by her many friends from Qualicaps, but especially her canine friends Spike and Oliver. Joan retired from Qualicaps after 40 years of dedicated and loyal service. A special thank you to Frankie, Annie, Monica and the wonderful staff from St. Elizabeth, Hospice and C.C.A.C. for the exceptional care that was given to Joan during her illness. Donations to Hospice or the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. Cremation ceremony has taken place.
