Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on August 4, 2011 at Hotel Dieu Grace hospital at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband to Guilhermina "Ninita". Loving father of Jose Brilhante and wife Sheila, Filomena Brilhante, Carlos Brilhante, and Fatima Brilhante. Step father of Emanuel Baptista and wife Lisa, Renita Martins and husband Francisco, and Kelly Baptista and wife Connie. He will be missed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by sisters Zelia Diabinho and late husband Luis, Bernadette Oliveira and husband Antero, and brother Jose Brilhante and late wife Maria, and predeceased by brother Luis and surviving wife Anna. Missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousin. Visiting on Friday from 2-5pm and 7-9pm with Prayers at 3pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Family and friends are invited to meet on Saturday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (804 Grand Marais Rd) from 9am until Funeral Mass at 10am. Cremation to follow.
