Beloved husband of Ellie for 58 years. Loving father of John "Jake", Brad & wife Jocelyn of Kelowna, BC, Kelly of Omaha, NE. Grandfather of Lincoln. Predeceased by parents Gertrude & John, brothers Leslie and Thomas and sister Jane, sisters-in-law Susan and Joan. Survived by brother Alex. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John worked for many years in automotive purchasing with Dura Automotive Systems, Tamco Ltd. and Thomas Built Buses before retirement. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
