62 years on September 28, 2009 at his home in the arms of his loving family. Beloved & devoted husband & best friend for 40 years of Cherryl (nee Meyrick). Cherished father of Danielle & husband Jason Stuebing, Jennifer Breault and Pamela Breault. Proudest Poppa of his "little man" Connor. Dear brother of Nancy, Paul, Carol & husband Steve Fisher and the late David (2000). Sadly missed by his brothers-in-law Luther & Cynthia Meyrick and Robin & Joyce Meyrick. Survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Predeceased by his parents Ena & Alfred Breault and parents-in-law Gwen & Ed Meyrick. John was an employee of Chrysler Canada for 38 years before retiring and was a member of Local 444. He loved his sports, especially hockey, baseball, football and most recently golf. John was also a volunteer with the VON Meals on Wheels Program and therefore donations made to the VON Meals on Wheels in his memory would be appreciated by the family. He will always be remembered for his beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humour. Visitation will be Wednesday 3-5 & 7-9 pm & Thursday 3-5 & 7-9 pm at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. Parish prayers Thursday at 4 pm. On Friday, family and friends are invited to meet at Our Lady of Atonement Parish at 11am followed by mass of Christian burial at 11:30 am. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens.
