Peacefully with family by his side on August 22, 2003 at 70 years of age. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Klingbyle). Dear father of Beverly and husband Ed Dickens, Pat and husband Jim Ferguson and Theresa Soulliere and father-in-law of the late Bob Fortier. Cherished grandpa of the late Kristopher Fortier, Rachel, Scott, Michael, Kaleigh and Jordan. Survived by sisters Sarah, Grace and Aunt Ruth. Predeceased by brothers Nelson, Fred, Burt and Roger. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John's greatest joy was early morning fishing with his friends. The family wishes to acknowledge Nurse Linda W. and Nurse Practitioner Bonnie Myslik for exceptional care. Visiting Monday 7 to 9pm. Funeral Tuesday 11:30 am at Families First Funeral Home (969-5841) 2670 Dougall Avenue. Rev. John Stevenett officiating. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens.
