With heavy hearts we announce Jack made his final journey home into the loving arms of Jesus on June 8, 2008 at the Hospice Village at 60 years of age. Beloved husband of 39 years to Madeleine (nee Dagenais). Cherished father of Tom (Lisa), Janice Altenbrun (Larry) and Karen Campana (Dan). Adored grandpa of Melissa, Courtney, Domenic, Sophia, Katarina, Carter and 2 on the way. Loving brother of Tim (Isuzu, Kai). Predeceased by his parents Doreen (1993) and Arthur (1991) and his brother David (1977). Jack will be sadly missed by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends especially the "Happy Gang Breakfast Club". He was an Ambassador of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, a member of St. Theresa Parish Knights of Columbus Council #9793 and an altar server and Eucharistic Minister at Most Precious Blood Church. Employee of Windsor City Hall. Former employee of the Ford Motor Co. If you so desire, donations may be made to the Most Precious Blood Building Fund or to the Hospice of Windsor. Visiting Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. K of C Prayers Monday 7:30 p.m. Divine Mercy Chaplet Tuesday at 3 p.m., Rosary Tuesday at 7:45 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8:00 p.m. at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. On Wednesday, family and friends are invited to gather after 9 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Church, 1947 Meldrum, until the time of the funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
