84 years on October 26, 2009 peacefully at Royal Oak Village. Beloved husband of Magdalena for 41 years. Cherished father of Susanna Orcsik & husband Edward and Josef Bencsik & wife Marisa. Devoted Opa of John Michael, Nicholas, Siena and Isabella. Dear brother of Liska Hansel of Germany. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Josef was a member of Bricklayers Union Local 6. Josef will be lovingly remembered for his passion of gardening but more importantly his love of his grandchildren. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Visitation will be Tuesday 3-5 & 7-9 pm with parish prayers at 8 pm at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. On Wednesday, family and friends are invited to meet at St. Michael's German Catholic Church, 2153 Parkwood, after 9:30 am followed by mass of Christian burial at 10 am.
