Born in Six Men's Village, St. Peter, Barbados on July 22, 1932. Gone to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 28, 2011 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Dennis Willoughby Walcott. Mother of Mark, Wayne (Bridget), and Jane Fraser (John). Grandmother to Christopher, Brandon and Chris. Also survived by family in Barbados, Trinidad, England, United States and Canada. Joyce was a Registered Nurse and an Emergency Nurse at Toronto East General Hospital. She taught at Western Secondary School for Hospital Services and First Aid and worked for Essex County Community Living. Joyce had a passion for her family, working with children and everyone within her community. In kindness, donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family. On Saturday, July 2 family and friends are invited to meet at Windsor Christian Fellowship, 4490 7th Concession after 10am, followed by Funeral Service at 11am. Cremation to follow.
