Julie Harder

Born June 8, 1959 in Rosthern, Saskatchewan, Julie died peacefully September 8, 2011 at Hospice of Windsor while in the company of her husband John Harder. Cared for lovingly by daughters Leah Harder and Chani Wiens and son-in-laws Alex Wiens and John Wideman. Survived on earth by parents Arthur and Elfriede and brothers Grant and Howard Wieler of Laird SK and sister Ellen Bailey of Sherwood Park AB, along with their families; John's brother and family and father in Kansas; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.Julie was a supply teacher for GECDSB, a volunteer at Ten Thousand Villages and at Greenfield Village, and an active member and elder of Windsor Mennonite Fellowship. Her warm smile and love of people and laughter will be fondly remembered and often missed. If you so desire, memorial donations to the Hospice of Windsor or Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Monday 12 noon until time of Memorial Service at 2pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
