66 years on December 6, 2011 (Santa Claus Day) surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Cathey for 46 years. Cherished father of Ken & Andrea, Rhonda & Ralph Malizia and Rana & Jeff Holland. Devoted Grandpa of Michael, Curtis, Dana, Colin, Robin, Sean, Madison and Thomas. Dear brother of John, Catherine & Ted Smith, Rita & Jack Routley, Gerry & Maureen, Ron & Jackie, Don, Mary Ellen & Judgie Mangile, Brian, and David & Kelly. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Ken was retired from the Canadian Salt Company after over 30 years of service and was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9793. Ken will be remembered for his generosity, honesty and devotion to his family and friends as well as being Santa Claus for children during many Christmas Seasons. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. Visitation Friday 3-5 & 7-9 pm with parish prayers at 4pm and K of C prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:15 am from Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 to St Theresa Church for mass of Christian burial at 11 am. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
