After a brave battle with kidney cancer, it is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Ken. Beloved husband and best friend of 25 years of Linda Roy. Devoted father of Kristina Roy and Ken Ball, and Nikki Roy and Ryan Mather. Loving son of Eva Roy and the late Andrew (1976) and son in law of Vincent and Janet Lazarus. Dear step father of Duane Schafer and wife Nadean, Marie Ward and Chris Shaw, Melissa and husband Dale Sutherland, Kerylin Ward and Dean Hutchins. Proud grandfather "Dumps" of Elizabeth, Matthew, Jordan, Ashley, Evan, Grace, Blake and Morgan. Dear brother of Anna and husband Harold Reid, Stella McHugh, Bernadette and husband Norm Kuzniak, Donna Barrett, Karen Roy and husband Ron Kravets. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law, and his biker and boating families. Ken was a motorcycle enthusiast and was most happy when he was riding his Harley. He retired from Chryslers after 35 years of service. In kindness, donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor. Visiting Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 4 p.m. Funeral Tuesday 9:45 a.m. from Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. to Sacred Heart Church (219 Sacred Heart Drive, LaSalle) for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at a later date.
