47 years, after a courageous and dignified battle, surrounded by his loving family on July 22, 2011, Ken answered his Last Call. Beloved husband and best friend of Linda for 31 years. Loving father of Jessica, Matthew and Jennifer all at home. Dear son of Joan and the late Kenneth (2002). Loved brother of Stephen & Jody and loved uncle of Brett and Taylor. Son-in-law of Marjorie Gregory and the late Murray (1988) and brother-in-law of Brenda & Murray Campbell, Pat Gregory, Arthur & Laurie Gregory and their families. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and colleagues. Ken began his fire service career as a firefighter with the Ilderton Fire Department leaving after 19 years as the District Chief Middlesex Sector. Ken has been the active Fire Chief for the LaSalle Fire Service for 10 years. He was actively involved in the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs along with many other professional organizations, community involvement and volunteer associations through out his career. His passion, dedication and wisdom for his life-long vocation and for his family, will be his legacy he leaves behind. Aside from his career, he was also actively involved and enjoyed the many sports his family was involved in. Nothing gave Ken more joy than watching his children grow into the young adults he was so proud of. Visitation will be Sunday 7-9 pm and Monday 2-9 pm with family present from 2-5 & 7-9 pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.

On Tuesday, family and friends are invited to meet at Heritage Alliance Church, 2501 6th Concession, Windsor for Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment Little Woods Cemetery, Ilderton, ON on Wednesday at 1 pm.
