Peacefully, with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer on May 10, 2012 at 63 years of age. Beloved husband of 41 years to Rose (nee Ferrarelli). Devoted father of Chris & wife Melissa, Mike & wife Dawn and Darren & wife Lora. Cherished and adored grandpa of Emma, Logan, Travis, Alexis, Carter and Finley. Loving son of Inez and the late Lawrence Ion and son-in-law of the late Nicola and Guiseppina Ferrarelli. Dear brother of Tom & wife Jackie Ion, Patti & husband Rick Reaume, Jim & wife Sue Ion, Cathy & husband Gary Warwick and brother-in-law of Mary & husband Jim Pluck and Jim & wife Nancy Ferrarelli. Special uncle of many nieces, nephews and great-niece and great-nephew. Larry was an employee of Ford Motor Co. for 40 years. His first love was spending time with his better-half Rose, family and grandchildren. His second love was for his '64 Ford Fairlane.
