Lawrence Marcuzzi

Born in Windsor, Ontario on February 12, 1943 and after a lengthy battle with cancer, on June 8, 2012 at 69 years of age, Larry passed away. Larry was a kind, faith-filled man of great integrity that loved life. Beloved husband of Colleen (nee Cork) for 46 years. Loving and cherished dad of Michael, Lisa and husband Av Maharaj, Leslie and husband David Boutet, Daniella and husband Kevin Brown, and the late Ryan Kathleen (1996). Loving Nonno of Joshua, Emily, Erin, Daniel, Olivia, Sofia, Danica, Benjamin, Amelia and Sara. He is predeceased by his parents, Maria and Louis Marcuzzi. Dear brother of Carmen wife of the late Tony Rigo (2012), Lino and wife Joanne Marcuzzi, Anna and husband Mirto Lenisa. Also will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews & cousins. Larry was a past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council No. 5350 in Harrow, Vice-President of Holy Name of Mary Food Fund, and a long-time member of the Fogolar Furlan Club and Kingsville Golf Club. A graduate of Ryerson and a self-made entrepreneur; owner and founder of several companies, including International Fleet Services Inc. and Express Wheel & Tire Inc., as well as a partner in Express Collision Inc. The only things that were truly important to him were things that really mattered. He was never happier than when he was with his family and friends, working in the garden, playing golf with friends and sons-in-law, building or fixing something with his hands or playing with his dog, Maddie. He lived with a bursting pride in his family—his wife Colleen, their children and ten grandchildren—and his friends and co-workers; all of whom mourn his loss, yet celebrate the lesson that was his life. Special thanks to Dr. Pan, Dr. Auon as well the nurses on 4 West at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus for your wonderful care and kind hearts. We especially thank Dr. Dean Favot, Larry's dear cousin, for his love and kindness and tremendous care. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the charity of your choice or to Holy Name of Mary Food Fund, c/o Frank Chauvin. Visiting Monday 7-9pm & Tuesday 2-5 and 7-9pm. KofC prayers Monday at 7:30pm and Tuesday parish prayers and a time for remembrance and sharing memories at 8pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Wednesday, family and friends are invited to meet at St. Anthony of Padua (120 Munger St. W., Harrow) after 9:00 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will take place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
