Passed away on the 19th of February 2011 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Sarah (nee Olsen, 2008). Great and loving father to the late Ronald (1999) husband of Bev, David and Derek and wife Kim. Cherished grandpa to Kristin Renaud and husband Scott, Melissa Doidge, Michael Doidge and wife Tara, Elizabeth Doidge Innes and Dale Echlin Doidge and great-grandpa to Lucas, Emma and Dylan. Dear son of the late William and Charlotte (nee Harwood). Devoted brother of the late Flight Officer Ronald Doidge, Royal Canadian Air Force (1944) and sister Connie and husband Ed Gillanders. Dear brother-in-law to Rene Tye and Kenneth Olsen and wife Ada of the United Kingdom and predeceased by brothers-in law William, Arthur, Michael, Luke, John, Jack and sister-in-law Mary also of the United Kingdom. Beloved uncle to Mark and wife Kim and Scott and Darlene and many nieces and nephews both in Canada and Great Britain. Leslie was a proud veteran of World War II serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was also a long time employee of Ford of Canada and a member of the UAW/CAW.
