Passed away peacefully on September 1, 2003 with her loving family by her side. Cherished wife of Bill. Loved mother of William. Beloved daughter of Jake and Arlene Gooding of Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Adored sister of Debbie Gonzales and her children, Gayna and Gabriel and Lennie and wife Denise Gillis and their children, Christopher and Lindsay and great-niece Taylor. Dear sister-in-law of Linda and husband Bill Smith, Donna Downes and Jake Cox. Loving daughter-in-law of Gerald Cox and Rita Edwards. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Lorrie was a driver for Canada Post and she served on the Board of Directors for the Windsor Warlocks Lacrosse Team. If you so desire, donations to the Hospice of Windsor or the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday 10 a.m. at Families First Funeral Home & Chapel (969-5841) 2670 Dougall Ave. with Rev. Jurrien Camman, Hospice Chaplain officiating. Interment Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
