Louis-Jean Bois

A loving, kind and gentle soul has gone to the House of the Father on Feb 9, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of Beryl (nee Waterer) for 53 years. Devoted father to Mary-Lou (Tony), Paul (Cindy), Shelly (Greg), Kathy, and Renée (Joseph). Loving Papa to Stephanie, Jacob, Matthew & Sondra, Michelle & Danielle, Katelyn & Christian, Gary (Jackie), and Isabella, and great-grandfather to Dustin. Youngest son of the late Arthur and Rhea Bois, and brother to Theresa and Dolores. Pre-deceased by brothers Alphonse and Oliver, and brother-in-law Gerald Waterer. Lou was co-founder of L & M Carpet Contractors, and went on to have a successful career in real estate. Former President of the Windsor-Essex County Real Estate Association, member of the Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Ethics Committee. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Big Brothers Association or St. John Vianney Parish would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Saturday 3-5, 7-9 p.m. Sunday 2-5, 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers Sunday at 4 pm. Funeral Monday 9:15a.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd. East Windsor, 519-969-5841 to St John Vianney Church for Words of Remembrance at 9:45 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10 am. Cremation to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
