The world is a little dimmer today, and with heavy hearts, filled with sadness, our family announces her passing in her 87th year, after a short illness. She has gone to be with her Heavenly Father. To everyone who has met her, she was mother, friend, advisor and comforter. Loving wife of 68 years of Paul. Predeceased by her parents William and Agnes (nee Pocock) Henshaw. Sister to Tim Henshaw and predeceased by her siblings Max, Pat and Betty. Mother of nine children who all adored her, she is predeceased by her son Greg and daughter Kim (wife of the late Ralph Farrugia). Mark (Gloria), Mike (Tracey), Paula (Ed), Jon (Priscilla), Martin (Debbie), Matt (Jan), Phil (Kim) and special mom of Tish Gagnon. Mickey was a lover of children and rightly blessed with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention all by name. Never replaced and so sorely missed; indeed the world is a little dimmer today. If you so desire, donations to the Downtown Mission would be appreciated by the family.
