It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving Mom, Nonna and sister on November 11, 2019 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife for 58 years of the late Abramo (2012). Loving mother of John Severin and wife Susan, Rosemary Guil and Tommy Pittao, Flavio Severin and wife Donna. Dear daughter of the late Enrichetta and Guiseppe Miglioranza. Cherished Nonna of Brett, Hillary, Matthew, Erik, Jordyn and Taylor. Dearest sister of Pia and Amanzio of Italy and predeceased by ten other siblings. Maria will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Dear daughter-in-law to the late Noemi and Abramo Severin.

Maria was passionate about her family, her flower gardens, her knitting and cooking. We will all miss her “mandatory” Sunday afternoon feasts. Maria had a very special long term friendship with her dearest friends, the Cesca, Martin, Boschin, Giampuzzi, and Damolin families, and Tony Leteri and Alyson (Alice).

Maria’s family would like to send a very special thank you to the staff at Huron Lodge Willow Unit. Your kindness and compassion will always be remembered.

On Friday, family and friends are invited to meet at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (4401 Mt. Royal Drive) after 10:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
