Loved Oma of Sarah, Alyson, Valerie, Kaitlyn, Alex, Andrea, Laura, Julie, Owen, Emily, Rianna, Brent, Forrest, Isaac and Linden and great grandmother of Taylor and one on the way. Dear sister of Betty "Bep" Van Wel, sister-in-law of Nel Bus, Jan & Kit Van Egmond, Dora Van Egmond, John Van Laar, Riet Van Egmond and predeceased by siblings Annie Castelyn, Hank Wichmann, Andre Wichmann, Josephine Van Laar and Willie Konst. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mies was the proud owner of LaSalle Bowling Lanes for 32 years and was a dedicated volunteer with Meals on Wheels for over 15 years.
