Passed away peacefully at her home on September 25, 2009 at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of the late Floyd (Fleuriant-Feb. 23, 1992). Dearly loved mother of Joe & Jody Lavergne, Barbara & Gary Deschaine, Karen Lavergne, Laura Deschaine and Dave Degelas, Sharron & Paul Martin. Cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 7. Loving sister of Linda & Paul Philbin, and the late Edward Baillargeon, Aileen & Jack Mills, Theresa & Rene Sweeney, and Gerald Baillargeon. Dear sister-in-law of Lucille Lavergne, Rita Lavergne, Terry Lavergne, Jim Sunman and the late Ernie & Dixie Lavergne, Lillian & Lawrence Godard, Laurette & George Payne, Yvette & Stan Augustine, Lucien (Lucky) Lavergne, Edmee & George Sharkey, Gerald Lavergne, Roger Lavergne and Cecile Sunman. Marie was predeceased by her parents Harry & Lydia Baillargeon and her father and mother-in-law Oscar & Laura Lavergne. She leaves many nieces & nephews and a great many friends to mourn her. Visitation will be Monday 2-5 & 7-9 pm at Families First Funeral Home & Tribute Centre (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. Parish prayers Monday at 4 pm. On Tuesday, family & friends are invited to meet at Sacred Heart Church, Lasalle, after 9:30 am followed by mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.
